I don't think it's based on those who feel the benefits but it's curiosity and a sense of wanting to try because other people have tried it first and they are quite benefited in that regard
Those people who are impressed by others are usually newbies because they see their entrance to crypto world as a great way to get in and the reason why they are in crypto. After a while they will realize that it is really not that much of a possibility and yes there are few who got in at a very lucky stage of a good coin that goes up, but that is a very rare thing.
In order to turn your few thousands into millions you need to find that one or two coin out of thousands that starts very new and keep it for a year when it gets super hyped during a good bull run. All of those hitting at the same time is rare, so they will eventually figure that out as well.
