For a couple of years being here in the cryptocurrency, I saw several times that the bull market happen when the price of Bitcoin goes up continuously in the market, and if that happens the majority top altcoins as well will going to rise their price value in the market too, this was already proven and tested and a lot of the altcoins also get pump too.
bull run does not happen when bitcoin is not in good state, you are right because to know when bull run is happening and when is about to happen is when bitcoin show good of market volatility and other coins will join bitcoin because of it good or green color in market to rise, so immediately coins are like 3x from the decrement that show's that cryptocurrency is entering bull run
