In as much as we all crave and want crypto currencies to become a dominant means of payment for our day to day expenses, goods and services, it's not gonna be easy to rule out or wipe out fiat from the system, Infact, if fiat will ever become obsolete, it will take several years and I doubt if you and I will still be alive by then to witness this.
But then, the good news is that fiat and cryptocurrencies can co-exist peaceful if our government don't get too greedy, citizens who wanna accept fiat payment for their goods and services can do while those who wanna accept cryptocurrency payment for their goods and services can do, and those who wanna accept both can also do, it's a free world(even though it's not entirely free) and we should be allowed to sometimes make our individual choices and not the government imposing their personal choices on thier citizens.
