How do you guys feel about putting the seed phrase on banks safety deposti box inside of their vault? Bank would have one key and I would have second and both would be needed to open the box. In case of death the box would be automatically transferred for my kid so it would be useful in a way that seed does not get lost when I die.
Edit: If the bank also checks the identity of the person who has the key, it would also solve the problem that what if someone steals my key for that box. It would not matter because the robber would not get through passport check at the bank. Right?
That could be a good idea but I'd never place the whole seed in a single bank, instead you could, for example, divide the seed in 3 parts and then put each part in 3 different banks, each one with 2/3 of the seed. I try to explain myself better:
- Bank #1 you place the seed parts # 1 and 2
- Bank #2 you place the seed parts # 2 and 3
- Bank #3 you place the seed parts # 3 and 1
In this way you can be able to get all the words even if something happens to the seed you (partially) put somewhere.
