BTC is not only the first coin but it has symbolic value for the entire crypto market, one symbol of the blockchain revolution.
Just like gold, there are thousands of metals produced such as steel, aluminum, silver, etc., which are widely used in daily life. but gold has always been the most valuable metal, still number 1.
So there will be no altcoins that can replace BTC although ETH, Sol, Tron or Xrp... have utilities, applications and technologies that are far superior to BTC.
Here, first of all, it is necessary to clarify what is meant by the word "replace", because the appearance on the market of altcoins with better characteristics does not lead to the automatic disappearance of bitcoin. The replacement process can be viewed in terms of increasing the price, capitalization, number of wallets, and so on. I do not think that appearing on this market, altcoins set such a task. At the same time, it cannot be denied that altcoins are now developing very well, new useful areas of their activity are constantly appearing. It is too early to say that bitcoin is irreplaceable. We do not know what will happen to the cryptocurrency in a few decades. In the meantime, you should not oppose bitcoin and altcoins. Let them develop together and this market becomes more and more reliable and useful for people.
