Since I started on doing some business with alternative coins, my wallet of choice is Metamask. I have never been of any trouble using it. For me it is easy to use also. This wallet definitely supports both ERC20 and BSC networks. Moreover, Metamask is also available for smartphone users. I use it both on my desktop and my smartphone.
If I have to choose another wallet, I'll the one that is used by lots of people.
Since you're a newbie, I think it is fine to warn you that you should store your seed properly, as well as download the wallet extension from it's right website.
