Here's a question to the audience. Do you actually buy stuff with crypto, like services or goods? If yes, what kind?
I've recently got a Binance card to play around with and use it to pay for everyday expenses. Works pretty well.
I personally have not been able to use it directly as a means of payment, given the prohibition in my country that limits the use of crypto as a means of payment. on the other hand I can only use it when it is converted to fiat currency. even from crypto earnings, I've spent it on buying a house. how nice it would be for a country that has ratified it, of course it can be felt free from inflation
I guess most of us have not been able to use crypto directly as a payment for something due to each of our countries policy. I think in my country, we still don't have a platform that allows crypto as a payment system. But if given a chance to use crypto as a payment for something, I would still prefer real fiat or digital money rather than crypto because of crypto's volatility. Who knows what might be the value of the crypto I have spent few years from the day I have spent it. I would rather see crypto as a form of investment for now.
Same in the country where I live there are no shops or sellers that use crypto payments because it is still prohibited and only allowed for investment.
and I think crypto investment will be more profitable when the price goes up than using crypto as a means of payment, because when the price goes up high and our crypto holdings decrease because too many payments use crypto there will definitely be regrets.
so I will not use crypto to make payments as long as I can still use fiat because when the price goes down I will definitely feel sorry, even more so using it for payments which over time will decrease and that is tantamount to reducing my profits when the price goes up.
