Wow you have a lot of patience to hold for 5 years. But becoming a millionaire in just 5 years in investing in altcoins is depend on your capital investment and the market movement during the entire years of your investment. We don't know what will happen in crypto in that time. If you think 5 years back, Ethereum value is very low, I only sold $260 per eth before and last year it reached a value of $4k. If ever it will happen again in the future that the value of token will multiply many times, you have a chance to achieve your goal. But for now only ETH and BNB has a strong foundation that you can try to look for your investment. Still, doing your own research is better so that you won't blame anyone here if ever you will not become successful. Investing is risky either for short and long term that's why always reminder here that Invest at your own risk.
The issue is that such results are now very hard to come by, when ethereum was first released there was not as much competition in the market as what we have now, so even if a very good project is released right now it has to compete with a lot of projects that have a huge advantage over them due to the time they have been in the market and the community that supports them, this means that investing even in an altcoin like that carries a lot of risk and as such it is something that needs to be thought about, especially if you want to hold those coins for 5 years.
