Web3 has so much potential. It is a technology that has the chance to have a bigger impact on society than the launch of the Internet.
When HTML5 was released, there were many impressive demos of the technology and what it was capable of. We had many real world illustrations of what it could do, and it was intuitive as to how it could be useful.
While web3 certainly has a lot of hype behind it. I haven't seen demos or examples of what it is supposed to be. And why people should be excited about it. It seems like a hype train that will eventually be derailed similar to metaverse. Simply as there isn't anything representing the web3 movement that appears capable of living up to the massive amounts of marketing behind it.
