Russia mainly conducts the operation with elite units with combat experience, managing to ensure their planned rotation for rest, without conducting mass mobilization and without exposing other important border areas on its territory. Ukraine, on the other hand, already seems ready to throw into the meat grinder in Donbass the unshelled Volkssturm reserves from the third wave of mobilization. A good plan, as reliable as a Swiss watch.
