Based on my experience with Ethereum wallets today the private key is enough when I use it to import to other wallets, its not that hard because Ethereum is mostly compatible with almost all other wallets today, unlike other blockchains that need more extra files etc before it can import on any wallets but Ethereum is just simple and plain easy.
