A decentralized web (Web3) relies on a peer-to-peer network built upon a community of users. Every website or application gets distributed across hundreds of nodes located on different devices.
Peer-to-peer communication and making the contract distributed does not give the currency the advantage of decentralization, but rather who manages those contracts, the cost of double spending, and the number of permanent nodes.
