With Real Madrid confirmed as champions and Barcelona looking like they have secured their second spot, it's clear that that the only spot left to fight for is the 4th position which is currently being held by Atlético Madrid who seem to be inconsistent with results delivered, and if they become playful with the last two games they could lose the spot but I don't see this happening.
Real Madrid's exit as champions and Barcelona are certain to be safe in second place while the 3rd and 4th places are occupied by Sevilla and Atletico Madrid while Real Betis still have one game left if they win the match against Getafe then The difference in points with Atletico Madrid is only 1 point left in the standings table and they still have a chance to get a ticket to the Champions League next season the people of Atletico Madrid have to slip up in the remaining matches and Real Betis won all of these matches. Oh, I would still not be in a hurry to give Barcelona the second place, because the gap over Sevilla is not so great, and even Atletico Madrid still retains chances for the 2nd place. The 4 remaining rounds of the championship are not so much, but not so little, considering that Barcelona is still not so perfect, as the last matches have shown and the club may well continue to lose tournament points. Atletico Madrid is having a terrible season for itself, bearing in mind its potential and if last season it fought for the championship and won this title, now the club is on the verge of not falling into the Champions League. It seems that quite recently the club straightened out the situation and fought for second place, but then again there were losses with draws and losses of valuable points.
With Barcelona win yesterday, finishing at the second place might really be a dream come through for them, knowing fully well they are only topping Sevilla with 2 points, they really needs to be consistent in their remaining games, if they really want to sealed the second position in their league. Looking at the table now, I think athletico Madrid is in a big trouble, cause they are only 4 points ahead of real betis who have one outstanding game to play. After winning the league last summer, athletico Madrid have Been struggling to win their games this season. If real betis have to win their outstanding match, I think athletico Madrid are in a big problem this season, cause they haven't been consistent through out this season.
