Such a bad performance by Leipzig it was. I don't know how they managed to concede another goal after their opponent got a red card too. This 3-1 loss must have been a big lesson for them. As they are out of top four zone now, their chance to qualify for the Champions League is in danger now. Because Freiburg have been wonderful for many weeks and they wouldn't lose their focus easily I think. However their remaining matches are very difficult against Union Berlin (H) and Leverkusen (A). Leipzig will hope them to lose as many points as possible.
Their performance was not good this week because somehow they were very advantaged in this match but they fell behind and could not convert their chances into goals and even blunders for them.
Supposedly with the superiority of the players and the superior performance they should have been able to reverse the situation but instead worsened after Gladbach played 10 men.
this is certainly not a good result for them especially now that they have to give up their position temporarily
Leipzig's declining form towards the end of the season is only to their own detriment, then Leipzig are in 5th place now replaced by Freiburg
who managed to beat Hoffenheim. Even though there are only two games left to be played this season, with a difference of one point with Freiburg,
Leipzig should have a chance to move up again to 4th position. Leipzig must show their fighting spirit in the remaining two matches, because I didn't
see the Leipzig players trying so hard to win the game against Monchengladbach. How is it possible with Monchengladbach who got a red card,
but was not used properly to win. Therefore in the two remaining matches there is no other choice Leipzig must win if they are serious about being
in the top 4, even then still have to expect Freiburg to drop points too.
