Freiburg, Leipzig and Leverkusen. All of these teams would compete well with each other to end the season for being the third and fourth. Leverkusen already seem like they are going to secure the third place in the league table. But the fourth place can change hands any time in the final two weeks. My favourite for the place is Leipzig to be honest. But I'm still not very confident about it as they are one point behind Freiburg.
If we look at the next 2 matches that will be played by Leipzig, we should have no doubts that they will smoothly get 6 points. On the other hand, Freiburg have a difficult match in the weekend, they will face Leverkusen and this is where the biggest possibility for Freiburg is shifted by Leipzig.
Initially I believed that Leipzig's point acquisition would go smoothly in the last 3 matches, but they had to lose to their opponent Monchengladbach. That makes them displaced by Freiburg in the standings. Indeed, if you look at the opponents that Freiburg will face, the opponents that Leipzig will face are easier. But I'm a little pessimistic about Leipzig right now.
