Yesterday I watched a video where Russian Forigen minister said - consider Ukraine is Palestine and Russia is USA - would those sanction stand?
I think these sanction are not to stop war but to weaken Russia ONLY. But Having said that. . . War is not a solution... Both the countries should go on dialogues to solve the problem.
Everyone thought this war would end soon. But there does not seem to be a situation where this war is over yet. No one knows when this war will end, so it has created an uncertain situation for the people of Ukraine. Those who thought that Russia would be weakened by various sanctions may have seen the current situation and realized that this was their misconception. So now dialogue is the only way to stop this war.
Even a dialogue like this won't have much impact because there really isn't anything we can do now to hinder or stop their Invasion.
At the moment nothing can be expected of anything because indeed when sanctions are useless then one of the last hopes is to hope they stop this voluntarily although this is indeed very difficult to happen
