I think that was normal because btc have also pumped last year as well as other cryptos. A bear market cant be called as a negative side of the coin but a negative side means if the coin has some issues or disadvantages over the other cryptos. No one is exempted in the bear market and even the best coins will also experience a decline once it occurs but there's no need to worry as good coins will always remain good no matter what is the status of the market.
We don't know if how long this bear will last because we have been in this situation for a long time so many are expecting that is ending soon but for some, they think it will continue since the market seems to love it.
