Chelsea will have a lot riding on this game tonight against Liverpool for the chance to be carriers of the FA cup. I think after their embarrassing performance with Arsenal and their draw with wolves, they will need to keep their head down because if there is one thing Liverpool is good at, it's to take chances when the opponent is least suspecting.
At 86 points and second in line, I think they will ensure that they carry the cup tonight, more like storing this one in preparation of the championship next week. If they succeed at this, they will be a point away from Man City.
Chelsea want to win, Liverpool want the same. The FA CUP trophy could be the only title Chelsea will get this season. Maybe they are no longer focused on the Premier League because they have a place to play in the UCL. Liverpool must share their concentration when they meet Chelsea, because Liverpool still have a chance in the Premier League to win the main competition in England. Even so, it seems Jurgen Kloop still wants Liverpool to win the treble in the 2021/2022 season.
People seem to forget that Chelsea won two trophies at the beginning of the season, Chelsea won villareal to lift the Super Cup earlier this season and also won Palmeiras in the Club world cup final this season. Winning the FA CUP will not be Chelsea's first trophy celebration this season.
Liverpool has been iin top form recently and they seem unstoppable, their attacking force is superb and it will be hard for any team to stop them. Chelsea on the other hand is struggling now they lack consistency, their attack looks blunt with no real threat and their defence concedes even to the smallest of teams. It will be a great final to watch and a difficult game for both sides.
