There needs to be a business to be able to open up jobs which is not as easy as we think,
I think all parties are needed in this case, especially as you said that the government's role is very necessary and really important,
especially in 2020 at the beginning of the pandemic it was really like a nightmare for company employees because many of them were laid off
It is hard but we have no choice but to accept it. Health is still more important anyway because if you got covid, you will suffer a lot in terms of financial and the way how you live. Besides, the company that laid you off are also willing to help you out by giving you relief goods and extra cash.
Governments are also doing the same thing, they gave stimulus checks during the peak of the pandemic and it was a nice amount of money. The role of the government to a country or to its people is very important. They have a great power so their responsibility is also great but sometimes governments are too selfish and corrupt. This makes the country/people suffer.
