I guess you are refering to the Scotland vs Ukraine game?
I just checked odds and found: 2.3/3.2/3.2
Scotland does play at home, which is a real advantage again with audience in the stadiums. Independent of the war, I think Ukraine is not a weak team and probably stronger than Scotland. With Scotland playing at home they should be about the same level. Maybe bookmakers really factor in that Ukraine will perform worse because of it?
I think it's going to be a very close match, my guess is that they will end in a tie. In any case it's probably going to be a fun game to watch.
The qualification mode asks for a winner in the match, so if it's a tie after 90min we will see extra time and maybe penalties.
Then the winner will play Wales a couple of days after (in Wales) for one of the last remaining spots in the World Cup.
I think all 3 teams (Scotland, Ukraine, Wales) are almost on the same level, so we will see two very interesting games.
Whichever teams qualifies, they will be in a group with England, USA and Iran and will have a good chance for qualifying to the final round there as USA and Iran are definitely beatable for any of those candidates.
I personally think that Ukraine will win, because they’ll be keen to make a statement for all the people back at home who’re in the middle of the war and what better way to do that then by winning this match, and then I believe they’ll try and beat Wales to qualify for the World Cup. However it’s quiet possible that they maybe emotionally distracted and may not perform to their usual standards, but I’ll yet put my faith in them and I hope that they beat Scotland and Wales.
