Since Sir Alex Ferguson left the club, Manchester United have been poor with their recruitment and I think the board is meant to be blamed. They have been accused of recruiting some players that some of the past managers never wanted. The good thing about Erik Ten Hag era now is they are giving him all he wants, they are bent on signing his player De Jong but I think Manchester United won't break the bank to sign him though.
Regardless of who's at fault I will not discuss things like this because indeed for internal problems there are only blaming each other between one party and the other. but indeed for recruitment there are actually good ones for them but they are not maximized properly so that new players become monotonous in playing.
An example in this case might be Sancho and Van De Beek. At the previous club they were very good at playing but what was given at United seemed not to be in line with what was expected even Van De Beek had to be wasted
