at least for this season Lampard can save Everton from destruction even though their performance is not very good but they are still able to be in the Premier League and indeed this is still good enough even though their ranking has fallen far.
In this case they must be able to prepare themselves for next season lest things like the damage at the beginning of last season become a stumbling block for them next season.
However Everton have to accept the fact that they have the lowest result this year but the good news is that Everton have been saved by Lampard goal, hopefully Everton will prepare for an impressive game in the Premier League next season.
