I don't fully agree with this statement. It is fairly obvious that if you are in an entertainment medium, you want something that excites you. You may prefer the excitement of a different casino games, but there are a large number of games that people love that are "themed". Have you noticed how many different slot games get various themes that get played? Those are, after all, some of the oldest and most classic casino games out there, and while almost all offer a similar gambling experience and similar rtp, they can still offer a much different experience. In any case, themed games give you a little more variety in your gambling, as you are presented with a different angle to take on the game, and many players enjoy trying something different every once in a while.
