My one & only reason for dabbling with alts is to get more bitcoin. I can’t be any clearer or honest than that. There is very low utility & very small future success for most alts but if I can manipulate them to help me gain more bitcoin then easy work.
Well, maybe most of us are like that, especially when it comes to new altcoins. however, the main goal is to multiply the main assets. New altcoins are used to support our main coin, because sometimes new altcoins have a high price increase potential, but if the project is not so good, the price will decrease over time. it's the same as the coin I've been holding up until now. initially this coin went up to $60, and it made me think it could go as high as $100. however, the quality is getting worse and worse, and I'm stuck at $1 to $2. well, it hurts, but because of that, I also feel that buying new altcoins sometimes we use to back up the main asset.

It really depends on what altcoin you are holding, the amount of token you have, and the price on the market. Holding altcoins is like keeping a gem bucket, the longer duration you are holding the more the price is increasing just like DOGE it jumps much higher after it got a tweeted by Elon muck and trend on market.

This bear market needs to be taken advantage of, and we never know if the altcoin you are doubt to buy has potential in the future. You really just need to check first if the altcoin you are buying is not just a pump and dump scheme, but also the supply and marketcap.
