^ I don't think without Benzema Real Madrid would be in this position and situation. Liverpool defenders are obviously going to keep a close eye on Benzema.
I am actually not going to be surprised if Liverpool actually always marks him with one defender all the time. Benzema is going to be a big threat for Liverpool.
We already know that Real Madrid currently have an unbalanced team, between the defensive sector and the attacker. But we also know that this is a team that has no problem conceding goals. Therefore, they usually become more effective when the opponent starts to think they have the game won or fully controlled. And that will be the biggest challenge for the Liverpool manager, to make the players maintain a high level of concentration throughout the match.
This is a fact and indeed this has happened to several teams that have played before even from the last 16 phase match against PSG, the last 8 against Chelsea in Leg 2 and the semi-final against City they are always like this and they are indeed very effective when the enemy has considered this is over especially when you look at City's game some time ago.
Liverpool must be really careful about this because Madrid always press with full force in the last 10 minutes
