If real Betis won madrid, they would have been in the top 4 but instead they got a draw against Madrid, perhaps they still qualify in for the europa League next season.
For boredom maybe yes but if you look now it's not wrong for them to do this considering they now have no reason to play seriously and give all their strength in La Liga considering this is the last game and they are already champions.
