Leipzig at the end of the season is playing as badly as possible but at the same time they are as lucky as possible and get what they want - 4th place in the Bundesliga + German Cup thanks to the lottery. On the one hand, the strongest is lucky, but today I would like Freiburg to win (and they were close - those crossbar hits).
I agree that they have played bad the last weeks in the German League but im happy to see them next season in Champions League.But for the German Cup today i must say we have seen that Leipzig is a great team and played very well with only 10 players over an hour.
They deserved it today even they got luck in the penalty , now they have there first title.
Bundesliga will send as many as 5 teams to the Champions League next year. Let's see if the quantity will help to get at least some quality
Unfortunately, no one except Bayern is now perceived as a serious club that could fight for the trophy. In Spain and England, the situation is much more positive in this regard. Is the Bundesliga turning into Ligue 1?
