Thisnhaoen often in my country and it is just a scam if it is just a day training. There is nothing best like knowing these yourself or having someone that will devote time to reach you. Although I have known most my self including trading by using some trading guides and experience. But trading is risky, using the money you can afford to lose is very important. For start, use very low amount of money to practice.
Forex and crypto trading is not the same as bitcoin, do not get that confusing, but you can trade/convert fiat, altcoins to bitcoin and convert bitcoin to Fiat and altcoin. But in trading, it requires more training and very risky.

I'm curious as to what you learned in that class. I wouldn't call it a scam like @DireWolfM14 but it definitely sounds fishy. It could have been one of those useless classes where they don't even know what they are teaching themselves although these things usually take place online.
That is what I can call it too, it is useless, but that $3 dollars can be collected from thousands of people without teaching them anything. But let us say they teach too but in a way not helpful. I will not call it scam too though because the money required for it is not that up to the amount it would be called scam.
