Between the two Health Issues and Money Issues what will make you to finally stop gambling
Check out these three situations :
Your doctor asks you to totally stop gambling because you are having hypertension and depression and this cause you to not only lose weight but you start to have a weak heart that might endanger your life.
You looked in a bank and all your life savings are almost gone and you will lose your house and car if you continue gambling
Your wife told you that he is going to divorce you because you are losing time with your family and you are becoming an irresponsible father and husband.
In order to stop gambling fully, the gambler must fully recognize and reflect that what he is doing is entirely wrong or detrimental to either to his health, family relationships, or financial condition. But this depends purely on the goal of the gambler on why he is gambling in the first place.
It is important to distinguish between a gambler who finds it purely entertaining to gamble versus a gambler who sees gambling for profit. In the former, I doubt that they would quit easily as it is considered as their play time compared to the latter.
Personally, I would quit gambling if money became an issue to the point that it affects entirely my obligations as a student or as someone who has constant responsibilities.
