Liverpool must be very disappointed after losing their title chance by a small gap at the end. They started to be hopeful after Manchester City had a hard time defeating Aston Villa first but they lost their hopes after some time passed. Liverpool shouldn't have leave the title to chance in the first place. They could have got ahead of Manchester City if they were able to defeat Tottenham before. It would have carried Liverpool one point ahead. That was an important loss of points for Liverpool. Anyway, Liverpool are still having a decent season and they still have an opportunity to even win the Champions League title now.
After the season ended, Manchester City deserved their title although I personally wanted Liverpool to win, but they were not able to make the most of the opportunity they had. Different from Manchester City, they always take advantage of their opportunities, we can see from the games at the end of the league. They don't want to lose even 1 point.
Manchester City struggle to get the EPL title was very tiring, they continued to be overshadowed by Liverpool until the last game. Liverpool's fans were overjoyed to see Manchester City is trailing 2-0 to Aston Villa, Liverpool would have almost wond the ELP title if Manchester City were not able to come back with three goals scored in the second half. Liverpool still have hope of getting a more prestigious title than the EPL, because they will compete in the UCL final against Real Madrid.
