Liverpool must be very disappointed after losing their title chance by a small gap at the end. They started to be hopeful after Manchester City had a hard time defeating Aston Villa first but they lost their hopes after some time passed. Liverpool shouldn't have leave the title to chance in the first place. They could have got ahead of Manchester City if they were able to defeat Tottenham before. It would have carried Liverpool one point ahead. That was an important loss of points for Liverpool. Anyway, Liverpool are still having a decent season and they still have an opportunity to even win the Champions League title now.
Liverpool have failed to win this season, but I believe they are ready with this result. Although can't get epl champions, Liverpool still has strong optimism to face next season. However, from Liverpool's overall game, they have been brilliant this season. Regarding UCL opportunities, of course they will perform optimally so there is a trophy to be obtained this season. I think Liverpool not being able to win the English Premier League, will make them a lot more determined to win the Champions League trophy this time. We all had thought that Liverpool might lose the English Premier League to Manchester City because Manchester City looked really good this season. I really don't think that the Liverpool fans are too much disappointed with them because they did not win the English Premier League but the fans will surely be disappointed if they fail to win the Champions League final.
