Inter Milan failed to defend the Scudetto.  But that doesn't mean it's been a bad season for the Nerazzurri this season.  Indeed there is a slight decline in Inter Milan's performance this season when compared to last season, which is caused by several factors.  Inter Milan's journey in Serie A this season is arguably good, Inter have only lost four times throughout the season, it's just that they were unlucky.  What made Inter slip at a crucial moment was when Lonut Radu's blunder in the postponed match of week 20 of Serie A became the key to Inter's failure.  Radu made a blunder, Inter lost 2-1 to Bologna, and failed to snatch the top of the standings from AC Milan.  However, this season Simone Inzaghi has succeeded in bringing two trophies in his closet, namely the Coppa Italia and the Supercopa de Italiana.  So it's not been a too bad season for Inter.
