Most of the European nations are only trying to just supporting US, even if they are facing short term challenge. Yeah there is more reverse psychology now, and most of the nations are trying to go all electric and renewables. Which is good in one sense but it’s costly affair too. The big companies like TATA motors, TESLA will have have to jump into the business on full scale and think about the infrastructure to overcome the modern energy problems. Definitely this would be future, natural gas will always count in but the demand will suppress and in near future it may happen the prices will crush down badly for oil. After all change is always needed, this war just gave turning point to everyone’s thinking.
