It is difficult to assess the shape of the Ukrainian national team now, many players have been without a game for months and this will certainly affect their physical form. It’s not worth talking about the psychological state at all, Scotland in this situation looks like a favorite. If Ukraine can win, it will be a huge feat, and a very big miracle. But to be honest, I don't even know what Ukraine will be capable of in the final part if they manage to beat Scotland.
Having been inactive for a long time, of course, will affect the performance of the Ukrainian players, indeed, Scotland will benefit from qualifying for the world cup in Qatar. but it's true that because their country's condition is not good, it could make the fighting spirit of the Ukrainian players increase rapidly to be able to make their country proud on the football stage.
it will be a very tough match.
How many players of the Ukrainian team have been inactive? Surely there are quite a few that play in other European top leagues? It is true that all those things will affect Ukraine's performance, but Scotland is no unbeatable opponent either. I think both teams have a fair chance to progress into the final qualification game. Odds for progression are currently at Scotland 1.6 and Ukraine 2.2, so roughly 60-40 in favor of Scotland.

I honestly don't know the current situation of the war between Russia and Ukraine. But I believe it is natural for the players of a country to not be concentrated on football when there is a war going on in their country.  I believe I heard that a lot of football players,  or maybe a few football players, were taking part in the war. So I don't think there will be too much concentrated on football but at the same time, they have to be professional. and obviously, Scotland is not too hard of an opponent either.
