It is not unique what they do as Betfury was the first to launch this but it is an interesting approach. Some other sites have their own tokens but combining gambling and investing will always appeal to even more players. I have some OWL tokens but I don't play with them, just stake them and I am sure they will launch a new pool before the old one expires.

One thing is for sure this trend is not so common yet as most of the gambling sites do not possess their own token. The most famous is the FUN token by freebitco.
It is interesting, there are many casinos that follow their own path, but everything has the same scheme, they have chips and can make use of them how they want, they can keep them, you can do trade, everything is allowed, me, me. Betfury is the pioneer of the tokens within its platform with bets, the staking and the decentrlized exchanges trade system, the fun tokens are used for Freebitcoin, everyone wants to have the same success as Betfury, and I do not blame them, but every house or betting casino makes their own changes so as not to be equal to the platform that this system follows, I respect this.
@danadc it doesn’t matter who launched it first what does matters is what they do post the launch, and so far people including me believe that in the long run these tokens will give good returns to the holders. Also till now I haven’t seen many complaints against them which shows that they’re handling their customers well, and lastly I’m sure that the team would be looking to innovate because to survive in this industry the casino needs to constantly innovate and come up with new ideas or contests.
