Besides the new cryptocurrencies, from my perspective, I'd look more at cryptocurrencies that hold utility, keep developing and have a serious community.
Actually, a price drop for a new project, after it comes on the market, is a normal phenomenon. It all depends on vesting. You make a good point that even though the price of the project is going down, that's no reason to leave it altogether. Yes, you can lock in some profits, if any, and try to buy out the bottom of the project, which can go 90-97 percent below the ATH price or the listing price on the exchange.
The main thing is that the project continues to be supported by large investors and develop, according to the plans and timing of implementation.
