is it a wise idea to use my gaming pc for mining?
i am thinking of buying a mining rig but i want to wait till August and you all know the reason
and in the meantime i am thinking of using my PC for mining for a few months
i have a GeForce 1050 TI using nicehash for mining
any ideas for coins/pools or solo mining are welcome

Using the hardware you already have for mining is always a good idea in my opinion.
Yes, 1050Ti probably won't make you more than $10-15 per month, but you will learn how to mine with various apps and/or on various pools.
And if you invest those $10-15 per month smart, within two years you may have $300-400, which if invested properly may turn to $3000-4000(we all know why in 2 years
).
