What's the advantage of the formula instead of the upper cap?

ok your formula would be another valid way. However, we communicated our spreading plan and it will not be changed. Additionally I do not see why someone would want to have a fix 67% difference. Or in other words why our plan is worser than using your formula.

here are the advantages why i personally think such a formula would be more suitable for the distribution:
- you garuantee that all people who fullfill the requirments for the scond stage can join if they want to, which is of course not the case if the interest is too high
- you dont need to adjust the distribution for the benefit to the early birds in case too few people invest in the second stage
- all second stage investors know exactly what they get for their investment as far as a comparison to a first stage investment is concerned before they invest
- it favours the establishment for the finding of the real market value which is not the case if the upper cap would be reached as the ask was less known then
but although i canot agree with your point of view, i think i have understood it know. so let us see what will happen in second stage of the ipo and how things will develop.
