can i suggest that people who want to mine, download the new client and delete their previous block chain. Also solo mining is still good at the moment.

Doing so will ensure you are on the right block chain

Can i also suggest that you do not mine on a pool unless it is update, due to the fact that the coins you mine, may not end up it your wallet.
