Will Bitcoin replace the global currency, or will it replace gold (as a reserve )?
There is nothing called global currency. If you mean currencies like Dollar, Pounds and Euro, they are national currencies that some countries use as foreign reserves. Bitcoin can only be an alternative and not a replacement.
Gold has been existing since ages, gold did not replace other assets like silver and many others like that because people are using all as an investment and store of value which bitcoin can also provide, bitcoin is still just an alternative and not a replacement.
