Surely those reasons will make them think twice before they decide gamble again because that scenario is the worst that the people can have, losing huge money including their savings and at the same time losing their beloved ones. Though, we cannot blame their loved ones because they don't want that kind of life and surely they didn't even dreamt of having it. Also, taking some measures like distancing themselves from their friends who gambling will help.

I have read more posts about stopping to gamble than to start gambling. Gambling is a very risky game. IT makes you rich in a jiffy and it brings you on road in jiffy - there is no mercy in this game.
That is indeed true but the odds on winning the games is more slimmer while the chances of losing every game you bet is much greater. So, most of the time it will make you poorer and poorer until you get more thirsty to win and still end up losing. Gambling is purely based on luck and that factor won't get attach to you always.
