I think that Real Madrid are going to aim to make the team younger in the near future. It would have been a big step forward for them to bring Mbappe here. They couldn't do anything after he extended his contract with PSG. They would have gone for Haaland as well but Manchester City acted quicker than them. There are still many young and promising players in the transfer market of course but not the majority of them deserve to play for Real Madrid. They will need to pick the right players among them to invest in the future.
There are several other young players who are rumored to be targeting Madrid right now and one that has come to the fore is the approach they had with Rafael Leao and there has been some news as well about them wanting Darwin Nunez now.
These are young players who are indeed in terms of appearance in my opinion they are above average now but until now there has been no official statement there but the good thing is Rudiger is now officially a Madrid defender
