Doesnt really matter whether you do trade for short term or long term and we realistically know that having short term gains is much more higher or much better compared to long term ones.
To me, short term returns will not be as good as long term returns. If bitcoin becomes a short term investment asset then I'm sure they won't be able to maximize good profits because the volatility is so high. Buying a dip and waiting for a recovery might make them turn a profit, but honestly I prefer this investment for the long term.
Indeed, it all depends on the strategy and the way we set targets. If we don't have much time to monitor prices and charts then long term investing is the solution, but conversely if they prefer to be in front of the monitor then day trading or short term investing might be useful for them. Long-term investment risk can be minimized as investors may not see much of the market price. However, short-term investors may experience different things as they may be a little worried if this downward trend continues for longer.
