Between the two Health Issues and Money Issues what will make you to finally stop gambling
~

I voted "Money Issue" because with the way I gamble it's hard to imagine that health issues can be my problem. I'm not addicted to gambling, I use it for relaxation, and I can stay without gambling for weeks in a row, having no urge to make a bet. I've always been thinking that those were my relations with gambling, and just recently I had an opportunity to test whether it's true. It's true. But I'm not perfect, still a human being, and once in a while I can be overly carried away and lose more in one session than what I can easily afford to lose. It happens rarely, maybe once in  a month or two, and even in those cases I don't lose more than I make in one day with my main job, but it hurts still. I'm working on making those cases rarer, but overall I'm not planning to stop gambling. It makes my life brighter.

It's good that you have your self-control and self-restraint in place. This is the key factor to avoid being addicted in gambling. Having such ability to stay away for gambling for several days to weeks without losing your sanity is a good indication that you are not dependent in gambling.

I have other friends that are just like you. Those people who aren't addicted in gambling can manage without it and probably will stop gambling if they don't have enough budget for it. Because of course, money matters in gambling. I salute people like these who don't really go overboard just because they want to. And instead of borrowing money just to play, they rather stop than to be indebted.
