I do not understand the weakness of Barcelona's forward. I don't understand why Xavi wants to take a player like Lewandowski at the moment. Lewandowski is certainly a talented player. But we should not forget that he is 33 years old. He will not be able to serve the team for long. Moreover, the forward of Barcelona is strong. Xavi should spend money to stabilize his defense and midfield. If we don't strengthen the defense, Barcelona will face big problems next season.
I don't think age is an issue at the moment and even though it's been good for a few years of course it's also very good for them considering that in the Bundesliga Lewandowski's productivity has been terrible.
The problem for Barcelona at the moment is their financial problem now if they want to bring in this player obviously this is very good but of course there are risks taken considering in this case it is unlikely that Lewandowski will want to be paid cheaply.
