This could be an effective approach but I guess even if we boycott the Russian gambling platforms, it still couldn't stop the war because aside from taxes from gambling, they still have lots of resources to support their current war. Innocent lives are already suffering from what is happening to their country but I believe that this too shall pass. The sad thing is, that this war could continuously take more lives.
Although it did not have any effect on Russia from the boycott of the gambling platform but it is only a small effort on our part not to support war on Ukrainian territory. I hope the war will end soon because many soldiers and civilians have fallen victim to the war without knowing when it will end.

You're right. We must think about this.

According to experts from the Yale Institute, almost 1,000 companies have publicly announced they are voluntarily curtailing operations in Russia to some degree beyond the bare minimum legally required by international sanctions.

This will not seriously affect the country’s economy, because there are still a lot of companies working in Russia and Russia is a country rich with resources. But it’s an obvious political step, which is very important. And, it's an obvious step from a human point of view.

Might not be that big but if there are lots who do make the same step then for sure it would make some toll but cant really be denied that Russia is really indeed rich for them to sustain out this war for long
despite of the sanctions that its been facing.
This doesnt only talk on gambling industry but also in other industries as well on which there are steps which had been made and some of them do get along on international sanctions and steps that had been made.
Even how hard we do make out some support of boycott but it wont really be that enough on stopping this war or crisis.
