I don't see anything wrong with investing in ETH, and out of all altcoins, my personal trust rating for ETH is the highest. I can’t say for sure whether the time is right for this or it’s better to wait for a further correction, but if I had free money, I would invest it in ETH. Because ETH price has fallen a lot, which means you can already buy profitably. If, however, the price continues to fall, then for this you can leave part of the funds for the purchase at a lower price.
