Talk to the doctor that will do the surgery and maybe you can ask him some advice about your financial problems. I think he will help accept the money you have onhand and gives you more time to prepare the additional amount. That way, your father can undergo surgery first while you are looking for more money to complete the payment. After all, doctors are there to save lives, so they should find ways to make their patients live than to die.
