if the collateral is the same as the amount the lender is lending then why would you feel scammed ?
just sell the collateral and you have your money back simple
How would a lender sell something that is not his possession? You already said you're not willing to ship the video card to anyone for a €500 loan:
explain me why i would ship a 1500-2000 € videocard for a 500 € loan ?
and then when i pay off my loan they don't sent it back to me and i lost my videocard
no thanks
How would a lender not get scammed if you still have the video card and decide not to pay the loan? Many of the reputable lenders on this board, on the other hand, have a business and reputation to maintain. Even though they are anonymous they have proven themselves to be responsible and trustworthy with far more money than the value of your video card.
Another thing that you should keep in mind; you're the one asking for something, not the lenders. No one here is forcing you to send collateral, just like no one here is obligated to give you a loan. There's no forum policy requiring lenders to give a loan to every scammy newbie who shows up demanding one.
