This just crossed my mind and there's a possibility that this scenario exists in real life
Do You Think It's A Cause Of Concern For Your Employer if he finds out that you are a compulsive gambler and you are working in a department that deals with money, do you think it's right that he transfer you to another department that has nothing to do with money?
Absolutely. I'm surprised that only 54.5% of the voters think it is. C'mon, guys, would you trust your money to a compulsive gambler? I mean, not only there's a high probability of losing money, but you are likely to make the things worse for that person suffering from gambling addiction. Don't make an alcoholic to work at a booze store. That's a bad idea.
I think that most of them would entrust the money to them because they think and assume that ethics is the first thing to be maintained and the last thing to be lost, that the responsibility of a job is above anything that can give pleasure to the person and more if it's someone else's money, I think this is why they focus. But in my personal opinion money can be trusted but not much, sometimes the addiction to a game or something can produce certain thoughts that go against one's own ethics in order to satisfy the need, this is something that has to be taken with a certain Caution, if you are a long time worker there is not much problem, however you have to keep an eye on it.
Even old timers or long time workers could really changed in a snap specially if they are having some addiction problems which there would be no exemptions in terms of things to be committed specially if we are
talking about money.As an employer then it would be common sense that you would need to at least monitor if ever you do get someone is having those addiction problems or get some information from its co-fellow
workers which it is really just sensible that you would be making some actions about that although its not right on replacing him right away and its better to observe it first.
